Pat Kaufman, BIO

Pat Kaufman, a Delray Beach, Fla. Resident, is an accomplished watercolor artist known for her Key West style of painting that incorporates deep vivid colors and bright tropical themes for her art including beach settings, lush gardens, homes and historical landmarks.

A self-taught artist, Pat is originally from Buffalo, NY. She began creating at an early age. He flowers and scenes painted on old treasures for home décor were her first venture in selling years ago at art and craft shows. She quickly expanded her portfolio to include watercolors and began exhibiting her work at fine art shows throughout Florida and the East Coast. What began, as a part-time hobby became a full-time passion. Pat sold her lucrative financial consulting business and embarked on a career as a professional artist.

Pat has established herself as one of the preeminent watercolor artist in South Florida. She displays and sells her work through galleries, shops and juried fine art shows from Miami to Connecticut. Art lovers’ worldwide request her work including collectors from Japan, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and England. Her accomplishments have led to articles in the Palm Beach Post, Miami Herald, Sun-Sentinel and Heart of Delray Magazine.

Pat also works on commission and has painted portraits of homes, gardens and buildings for many individuals and businesses. Her work has been featured by Corporate Cadillac, displayed at American Orchid Society, Delray Beach City Hall, and her donated pieces have been displayed and auctioned off by Sunfest, at the Coconut Ball for Children and the arts, Children’s Place South, and Jarvis Foundation for Aids.

“The beauty of nature and its colors lift my spirit and make my heart sing,” Pat said. “Painting to me is from the heart and spirit. I loose all tract of time and space while painting.
